Mitsubishi Forklift Service

Independent service for Mitsubishi forklifts across the Austin to San Antonio corridor. PM, diagnostics, repair, and fleet maintenance for the Mitsubishi platforms we see in the field. Keeping your business running on time since 1993.

Where Mitsubishi Fleets Concentrate In Central Texas

Mitsubishi forklifts show up across Central Texas as indoor warehouse trucks and as outdoor pneumatic trucks. The brand is common in manufacturing, construction supply, food and beverage, and general distribution.

Mitsubishi forklifts come from Mitsubishi Logisnext, which also builds Caterpillar lift trucks. The platforms overlap substantially. A mixed Mitsubishi and Caterpillar fleet is often the same engineering under two paint schemes. Treating those units as two unrelated brands wastes technician time and splits the service relationship. One independent company that already services both badges is the simpler path. See our Caterpillar forklift service page for the other side of that overlap.

Mitsubishi volume in this corridor clusters in a few real places:

  • Manufacturing and light industrial along I-35 from Buda and Kyle through San Marcos and New Braunfels
  • Construction supply, lumber, and outdoor yards on the south and east sides of Austin, where pneumatic Mitsubishi trucks live outside
  • Food, beverage, and indoor distribution near Bergstrom and along SH 130
  • Heavier industrial and warehouse work in the San Antonio Northeast Corridor, Schertz, and Cibolo
  • Manufacturing and regional distribution in Round Rock and Georgetown

R&R Lift is based in Buda. We cover those submarkets as regular service territory from Austin to San Antonio, not as a special trip.

What We Service Across Mitsubishi Platforms

We service Mitsubishi electric, internal combustion, and warehouse equipment.

Electric Forklifts

Mitsubishi electric trucks show up in clean indoor work: food distribution, beverage, light manufacturing, and warehouse docks.

  • FB series sit down electric
  • FBC series cushion electric (we service the FBC25N)
  • ESR series reach trucks (ESR20N)
  • PW and PMW series electric pallet trucks (PMW20)

Electric service work on Mitsubishi platforms covers battery and charger inspection, motor controller diagnostics, hydraulic service, and the rest of the PM scope on the machine.

Internal Combustion Forklifts

Mitsubishi internal combustion trucks carry a lot of the outdoor and mixed indoor work in this corridor.

  • FGC series cushion LP, most of what we see (FGC15, FGC15N, FGC18N, FGC25N, FGC25K, FGC30N)
  • FG series pneumatic LP (FG15, FG25N, FG30N)
  • FD series diesel (FD30N)
  • Higher capacity IC trucks for heavier industrial work

IC service work covers engines, fuel systems (LP gas and diesel), hydraulics, drivetrain and transmission, brakes, and the standard PM scope. These are the units that share the most with Caterpillar lift trucks built on the same Logisnext platforms.

Specialty And Warehouse Equipment

Beyond standard counterbalance trucks, Mitsubishi fleets in Central Texas also run warehouse class equipment:

  • ESR series reach trucks for aisle work
  • PW and PMW series pallet trucks in walkie and rider configurations

If your floor has Mitsubishi units next to Caterpillar units, we treat that as one fleet, not two vendor problems.

Common Service Work On Mitsubishi Fleets

The service work we run on Mitsubishi fleets in Central Texas covers four categories.

Preventative maintenance. Scheduled PM visits per the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals. Planned inspections, documented findings, and a technician who already knows the unit. Thorough PM is the only line that reduces reactive repair cost and downtime cost.

Diagnostics. Mitsubishi electronic platforms produce fault codes, and our team carries diagnostic tooling across the platforms we service. Intermittent issues and complex failures get system level testing across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, not scan tool and replace guessing.

Repair work. Engine and motor service, hydraulic component replacement, mast and chain repair, brake systems, electrical work, transmission and drivetrain repair. Most repair work happens on site. For repairs that need shop level work, we coordinate transport and give you a timeline.

Fleet program coverage. For operations running 10+ forklifts, the Fleet Program puts PM, diagnostics, and repair under planned intervals, documented inspections, and one team that knows every unit you run. Fleet Program customers get this guarantee: A tech on site to diagnose within 24 hours for a down unit. Within 2 business days for everything else. Guaranteed. We strive for same day or next business day service. After hours service is reserved for Fleet Program customers.

Independent Service Versus Mitsubishi Dealer Service

We service Mitsubishi equipment.

The practical differences:

Warranty claims. Warranty repair claims should go through an authorized Mitsubishi dealer so warranty processing is handled correctly. We handle maintenance and other repairs that are not warranty claims.

Parts on the truck. Technicians stock common parts on the trucks so most on site jobs can finish in one visit. We are not a parts counter and we do not run parts as a service line.

Diagnostic tooling. For most diagnostic and repair work, our standard tooling and platform experience are enough. For the rare case that needs dealer only Mitsubishi tooling, we will tell you up front and either coordinate with a dealer or recommend the dealer path for that specific issue.

The service relationship. Mitsubishi dealers run service inside an equipment sales business. Independent shops like ours run service as the primary motion, without a new equipment quota sitting on top of the work order. For mixed Mitsubishi and Caterpillar fleets, that difference is larger: you get one team on both badges instead of two dealer desks.

Mitsubishi Fleet Operations We Serve In Central Texas

We service Mitsubishi fleets across the industrial submarkets of Central Texas. The mix of indoor and outdoor work is what makes this brand different from a warehouse only page.

Austin metro, including North Austin and South Austin. Food and beverage distribution near Bergstrom and SH 130. Light manufacturing along US 183. Construction supply and outdoor yards on the south and east sides running pneumatic FG and FD trucks.

Buda, Kyle, and the I-35 south corridor. This is home territory. Manufacturing, construction materials, and warehouse docks between Austin and San Marcos. We dispatch from Buda.

San Antonio metro, Schertz, and Cibolo. Large distribution along the Northeast Corridor near I-35 and Loop 1604. Heavier industrial work around Port San Antonio. Mixed indoor cushion trucks and outdoor pneumatic trucks in the same operation.

Round Rock, Georgetown, and the I-35 north corridor. Manufacturing and regional distribution north of Austin. A common pattern is cushion Mitsubishi units at the dock and pneumatic units in the yard.

New Braunfels and San Marcos. Manufacturing and regional distribution at the midpoint between the two metros. One fleet, two cities, one service team.

For a Mitsubishi fleet in any of these areas, we cover your facility as part of regular service operations.

If You Run One Or Two Mitsubishi Forklifts

A shop with 1 or 2 Mitsubishi forklifts is still a customer. The Fleet Program is built for 10+ unit operations, but a single down truck still stops a dock. Book a service call and we will treat the machine with the same care we give a larger fleet.
