The Work

This is field service first. You spend the day on site at warehouses, distribution operations, manufacturers, construction supply yards, and retailers with docks. You work on the truck in front of you.

A typical day looks like this:

Morning dispatch from Buda with a route of PMs, repairs, and the down machine that called in.
On site diagnostics and repairs. Hydraulics, electrical, brakes, mast and chains, engines, motors, battery and charger issues, LPG fuel systems.
Common parts already on the truck, so you are not driving back to town for a filter.
A work order for every visit. Findings, work done, what the customer should budget next.
Shop level jobs come back to Buda when the field cannot finish them.

We strive for same day or next business day service. That is the pace. After hours work exists for fleet program customers.

The Equipment

You will service mixed fleets, not one brand.

Makes we work on: Big Joe, Caterpillar, Clark, Combilift, Crown, Daewoo, Donkey, Doosan, Genie, Hangcha, Hyster, Hyundai, JCB, JLG, Komatsu, Kubota, Lift Rite, Manitou, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Raymond, Skyjack, Skytrak, Taylor, Toyota, Unicarriers, and Yale.

Classes you will see: sit down counterbalance, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet trucks, rough terrain, and related material handling equipment. Electric, LPG, gasoline, and diesel.

That is the point. The tech who can handle a Toyota in the morning and a Crown reach truck after lunch is the tech this shop is built around.

R&R Lift has kept Central Texas forklifts running since 1993. We are an independent forklift company based in Buda, Texas. We specialize in forklift service, and we serve Central Texas fleet operations from Austin to San Antonio.

We also sell forklifts and provide leasing. Service is still the job. You are not being measured on new unit quotas.
