Independent service vs Toyota dealer service

The practical implications for fleet operations:

Parts sourcing: We source Toyota OEM parts through standard channels and aftermarket equivalents where they meet specification. Our parts pricing is sometimes lower than dealer parts pricing on commodity items. Most repair scenarios don't have meaningful parts cost variance between dealer and independent.
Warranty work: New Toyota equipment under manufacturer warranty should generally go through authorized Toyota dealer service channels for warranty claim purposes. We service warranty equipment for nonwarranty work, but warranty repair claims are handled by the dealer network.
Diagnostic tooling: For most diagnostic and repair work, our standard tooling and platform experience are sufficient. For the rare case where Toyota proprietary dealer only tooling is required, we'll tell you that up front and either coordinate with a Toyota dealer or recommend the dealer path for that specific issue.
Service relationship: This is where the structural difference matters most. Toyota dealers run service departments inside larger sales operations. Their technicians sometimes have new equipment sales referral components in their compensation, and their service capacity competes with sales and parts demand for technician time. Are you an authorized Toyota dealer?

No. We’re an independent service provider. We service Toyota forklifts but we don’t sell new Toyota equipment and we’re not part of Toyota’s authorized dealer network. For new equipment purchases or warranty repair claims, we recommend working with an authorized Toyota dealer.

Can you service Toyota forklifts under manufacturer warranty?

For nonwarranty work yes. For warranty repair claims, we recommend going through Toyota’s authorized dealer network so the warranty processing is handled correctly. We can do regular maintenance and nonwarranty repairs on warranty machines without affecting the warranty status.

Do you carry Toyota OEM parts?

We source Toyota OEM parts through standard channels for most repair work, and use aftermarket equivalents where they meet specification and offer cost or availability advantages. Parts decisions are made transparently. We tell you what we’re recommending and why.

Can you diagnose Toyota forklifts that have proprietary dealer only diagnostic requirements?

For most diagnostic work on Toyota platforms, our standard tooling and platform experience are sufficient. For the rare cases where Toyota proprietary tooling is genuinely required, we’ll tell you up front and either coordinate with a Toyota dealer or recommend the dealer path for that specific issue. We don’t pretend to have access we don’t have.
