SkyTrak Forklift Service For Central Texas Operations

Independent service for SkyTrak telehandlers from Austin to San Antonio. Preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and Fleet Program coverage for the reach machines that work your jobsites and yards. Based in Buda. Keeping your business running on time since 1993.

Where SkyTrak Fleets Concentrate In Central Texas

A telehandler is a forklift with a telescoping boom. It reaches over, out, and up to place a load where a standard forklift cannot. SkyTrak is a telehandler brand, and its machines work where the load has to travel: construction sites, building materials yards, and industrial properties that still have ground to cover.

Central Texas keeps building. Construction along I-35 and SH 130, new plants and warehouses around Buda, Kyle, and San Marcos, and growth through New Braunfels and San Antonio all put reach machines to work. Contractors and supply yards often run one or two telehandlers next to a mix of forklifts from other brands.

Fleets choose SkyTrak for reach and lift in one machine, with attachments that change the job. Authorized dealers are a good source for a new machine and for warranty work. Independent service fits when you need ongoing maintenance and repair from a team that comes to the jobsite.

The service question is availability. A telehandler that sits down holds up the crew that depends on it. A planned PM costs less than a breakdown in the middle of a pour or a delivery.

What We Service Across SkyTrak Platforms

R&R Lift services SkyTrak telehandlers, including the boom, hydraulics, engine, and drive systems.

Telehandlers

SkyTrak telehandlers lift and place loads at height and at distance on uneven ground.

  • Telescopic boom handlers with a fork carriage
  • Units with attachments such as buckets and other tools, as equipped
  • Machines in contractor fleets that change hands often

Service work covers engines, hydraulics, transmission and drivetrain, axles, brakes, steering, tires, and the full PM scope on the rest of the machine.

Boom, Hydraulics, And Safety Systems

The boom is the heart of a telehandler, and it takes the wear.

  • Boom wear pads and extension systems
  • Hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and fittings
  • Load and stability indicators and safety checks as equipped

Boom and hydraulic work gets a careful inspection and clear notes on what we found, so you know the condition of the machine before it goes back to work.

Older And Mixed Telehandler Fleets

Telehandlers work hard and many stay in service for years.

  • Older SkyTrak machines still earning on active sites
  • SkyTrak units mixed in with other brands on one jobsite or yard
  • Machines that changed hands without a service history

If a SkyTrak machine still lifts the load, we service it. We tell you when a part is scarce, and we tell you what the repair path looks like before we start.

Common Service Work On SkyTrak Fleets

The work we run on SkyTrak fleets in Central Texas falls into four categories.

Preventative maintenance. Scheduled PM visits with documented inspections. Planned service intervals, not a call after the machine already stopped. Thorough PM is the line that cuts reactive repair cost and downtime cost.

Diagnostics. Telehandlers produce fault codes and hydraulic symptoms that a scan tool alone does not explain. Codes are a starting point. We test hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on site. Intermittent issues get a real diagnostic visit, not a parts swap and a hope.

Repair. Engine work, boom and extension systems, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and hoses, brakes, steering, axles, electrical, transmission and drivetrain. Most repair work happens on site, at the yard or the jobsite. When a job needs shop level work, we coordinate transport and give you a timeline. Technicians carry common wear items on the truck so a PM or a simple repair can finish without a second trip for a filter or a hose.

Fleet program coverage. For operations running 10+ forklifts, the Fleet Program is a scheduled maintenance for the whole fleet. Planned service intervals, documented inspections, and one team that knows every unit you run. Fleet Program customers get a tech on site to diagnose within 24 hours for a down unit and within 2 business days for everything else. Guaranteed. Same day or next business day. After hours service is reserved for Fleet Program customers.

Independent Service Vs SkyTrak Dealer Service

R&R Lift is an independent forklift company. We service SkyTrak equipment.

Warranty claims on a new SkyTrak machine should go through an authorized SkyTrak dealer so the claim is processed the right way. Regular maintenance and repairs that are not under warranty can stay with us.

Parts for SkyTrak repairs are sourced through standard OEM and aftermarket channels. We tell you what we recommend and why.

For most diagnostic and repair work, our tooling and platform experience are enough. If a job needs SkyTrak proprietary dealer only tools, we say so up front and we point you to the dealer path for that job.

Most of our customers came to us from a national dealer. They were tired of waiting days for a callback and getting an invoice nobody could explain.

Our shop is built around service, with sales and leasing as supporting lines, not the other way around.

SkyTrak Fleet Operations We Serve In Central Texas

We service SkyTrak fleets across the approved Central Texas service area, with the heaviest telehandler work in these submarkets.

Austin, North Austin, South Austin, and Del Valle. Construction, building materials, and industrial yards on and around the I-35 and SH 130 corridors.

Buda and Kyle. Close to our shop. Fast growing construction and materials work.

San Antonio and Schertz. Contractor yards, supply operations, and industrial sites with reach machines in the mix.

Round Rock, Georgetown, and Pflugerville. Construction and regional distribution north of Austin.

New Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin, and Lockhart. Mid corridor construction, materials, and plant work between the two metros.

For a SkyTrak fleet in any of these cities, we cover the facility as part of regular service from Buda, not as a special project.
