Independent service for Nissan and UniCarriers forklifts from Austin to San Antonio. PM, diagnostics, repair, and fleet maintenance on the Nissan badged trucks still in your yard and on the UniCarriers units that followed them. Keeping your business running on time since 1993.
Nissan built lift trucks under its own name for decades. In 2013 Nissan Forklift and TCM combined under the UniCarriers name. Mitsubishi later acquired UniCarriers. New trucks in North America now sell as UniCarriers. The badge on the overhead guard changed. The trucks in Central Texas yards did not all get replaced on that timeline.
That is the service picture here. Nissan cushions still sit on grocery docks in east Austin. Nissan electrics still run pick modules along SH 130. Nissan LPG trucks still work light manufacturing between Buda and Kyle. UniCarriers Platinum and Nomad units often sit in the same aisles. Mixed fleets are common.
Nissan volume in this market sits in warehousing, food and beverage distribution, and indoor manufacturing docks more than in heavy outdoor yards. The I-35 spine from Round Rock through Buda to San Marcos holds a lot of that work. East of Austin, the SH 130 warehouses in Pflugerville, Manor, and Del Valle run electric and cushion fleets that still include Nissan. San Antonio’s northeast warehouse belt around Schertz holds the same mix at a larger scale.
R&R Lift is an independent forklift company based in Buda. We specialize in forklift service. We also sell forklifts and provide leasing. We are not tied to Nissan, UniCarriers, or any other manufacturer.
We service these Nissan and UniCarriers trucks in Central Texas:
Nissan electric trucks still show up in clean warehouse work across the Austin metro and in San Antonio distribution:
Electric work covers battery and charger checks, drive and pump motor diagnostics, controller faults, hydraulic service, and the rest of the PM scope. Older Nissan electrics do not always talk to a modern scan tool the way a new UniCarriers unit does. We diagnose what the truck actually does, not only what a laptop reads.
Nissan IC trucks still work docks and light manufacturing:
IC service covers engines, LPG and dual fuel systems, cooling, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, masts, and chains. Dusty dock work and heat along I-35 are hard on cooling and fuel systems. That is where a real PM visit pays for itself.
Nissan and UniCarriers both sold warehouse class equipment that still runs in Central Texas:
If a unit in this group is on your floor, tell us the model plate. We will tell you whether we service that platform before we roll a truck.
The service work we run on Nissan and UniCarriers fleets in Central Texas covers four main categories.
Preventative maintenance. Scheduled PM visits at the intervals the manufacturer publishes for that platform. We inspect the whole truck, not only the item that failed last time. Thorough PM is the line that cuts reactive repair and downtime.
Diagnostics. Newer UniCarriers platforms throw fault codes through standard interfaces. Older Nissan trucks often do not. Intermittent lift, cutout, or travel complaints on those units need system level testing across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical circuits. We do not treat a scan tool as the whole job.
Repair work. Engines and motors, hydraulic pumps and valves, mast and chain work, brakes, wiring, and drivetrain repair. Most of that work happens on site. For repairs that need shop level work, we coordinate transport and give you a timeline.
Fleet program coverage. For operations running 10+ Nissan, UniCarriers, or mixed units, the Fleet Program puts PM, diagnostics, and repair under planned intervals, documented inspections, and one team that knows every unit you run. Fleet Program customers get this guarantee: A tech on site to diagnose within 24 hours for a down unit. Within 2 business days for everything else. Guaranteed. We strive for same day or next business day service. After hours service is reserved for Fleet Program customers.
A shop with 1 or 2 Nissan trucks is still a customer. Book a service call. The Fleet Program is built for 10+ unit operations.
R&R Lift is an independent service provider. We service Nissan and UniCarriers forklifts.
Warranty repair claims on a truck that is still under manufacturer coverage should go through the authorized dealer so the claim is processed correctly. We can do regular maintenance and repairs that are not under warranty on those machines. We will tell you when a job belongs on the dealer path.
Parts for Nissan repairs come through standard OEM and aftermarket channels, including the UniCarriers lineage that replaced the Nissan plate. Technicians carry common wear items on the truck. Parts are how we finish a repair. They are not a sales counter.
The difference that matters day to day is the relationship. Dealers run service next to new equipment sales. We run service as the main work. For a mixed Nissan and UniCarriers fleet, one independent team that knows both nameplates is simpler than splitting the yard between two dealer calls.
We service Nissan and UniCarriers fleets across the industrial submarkets we cover.
Austin metro, North Austin, and South Austin. Food and beverage distribution, grocery and retail docks, and warehouse operations along SH 130 and the Bergstrom freight pocket. Older Nissan electrics and cushions show up here next to newer UniCarriers units in the same building.
Pflugerville, Manor, and Del Valle. East Austin warehouse and fulfillment floors. Cushion and electric fleets. Nissan pallet and counterbalance trucks that have been in the same racking for years.
Round Rock and Georgetown. Warehouse and light manufacturing north of Austin. Mixed IC docks that still include Nissan Platinum and 1F trucks.
Buda, Kyle, and San Marcos. I-35 industrial between Austin and San Antonio. Light manufacturing, regional distribution, and the yards closest to our Buda shop. A Nissan that goes down here is a short run for a technician, not a special trip.
New Braunfels. Midpoint distribution and manufacturing that serve both metros from one footprint. Mixed fleets are the norm.
San Antonio and Schertz. Larger warehouse and logistics operations on the northeast side. Nissan and UniCarriers sit in the same trailer courts as Toyota, Yale, and Crown. We service the Nissan units in that mix rather than asking you to split the call.
If you run Nissan or UniCarriers equipment in any of these areas, your facility is on our regular service map.
If you are running Nissan badged trucks, UniCarriers units, or both, tell us what is in the yard. We will tell you how we would service it. R&R Lift has kept Central Texas forklifts running since 1993. We are based in Buda. We specialize in forklift service, and we cover operations from Austin to San Antonio.
