Independent service for Manitou telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts from Austin to San Antonio. Preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and Fleet Program coverage for the machines that work your yards and job sites. Based in Buda. Keeping your business running on time since 1993.
Manitou is best known for telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts. These are the machines that lift, reach, and place loads on uneven ground where a warehouse truck cannot go.
Central Texas has plenty of that work. Building materials and lumber yards. Construction supply. Job sites that need loads placed at height. Agricultural and ranch supply. Industrial yards with gravel, dirt, and slopes. Fleets in those places run a telehandler or two next to the warehouse trucks, and they need all of it running.
Growth along I-35, SH 130, and SH 45 keeps that work moving, with new construction on both sides of the corridor between Austin and San Antonio. Telehandlers are tools that earn on the site, and a day down hurts the whole crew.
If you run Manitou next to Toyota, Hyster, or JLG equipment, you do not need a separate service relationship for each nameplate. One team that already covers the corridor can take the Manitou units with the rest of the fleet.
R&R Lift services Manitou equipment across telehandlers, rough terrain forklifts, and the lift equipment that works alongside them.
Telehandlers are the core of Manitou in the field. A telescopic boom reaches forward and up to place loads where a mast truck cannot.
Telehandler service covers boom and extension inspection, wear pads, hydraulic hoses and cylinders, stabilizers where fitted, and the full PM scope on the rest of the machine.
Rough terrain forklifts are masted trucks built for dirt, gravel, and uneven ground.
Service work covers engine and drivetrain, axles and steering, hydraulics, mast and chain, brakes, and tires, along with the standard PM scope.
Manitou also builds aerial work platforms and other lift equipment, and some fleets run it beside their telehandlers.
Call us with the machine and the problem. We tell you what we can do on the unit before we schedule the visit, and we say so up front if a job needs a different path.
The work we run on Manitou fleets in Central Texas falls into four categories.
Preventative maintenance. Scheduled PM visits with documented inspections. Planned service intervals, not a call after the truck already stopped. Thorough PM is the line that cuts reactive repair cost and downtime cost.
Diagnostics. Telehandlers and rough terrain trucks carry hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems that all affect each other. Codes are a starting point. We test the hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on site and we do not stop at a scan tool. Intermittent issues get a real diagnostic visit, not a parts swap and a hope.
Repair. Engine and drivetrain work, hydraulic pumps, hoses, and cylinders, boom and extension components, mast and chain, axles, brakes, steering, and electrical. Most repair work happens on site, which matters when the machine is on a job site or in a yard. When a job needs shop level work, we coordinate transport and give you a timeline. Technicians carry common wear items on the truck so a PM or a simple repair can finish without a second trip for a filter or a hose.
Fleet program coverage. For operations running 10+ forklifts, the Fleet Program is a scheduled maintenance for the whole fleet. Planned service intervals, documented inspections, and one team that knows every unit you run. Fleet Program customers get a tech on site to diagnose within 24 hours for a down unit and within 2 business days for everything else. Guaranteed. Same day or next business day. After hours service is reserved for Fleet Program customers.
R&R Lift is an independent forklift company. We are not an authorized Manitou dealer. We service Manitou equipment. We do not sell new Manitou equipment and we are not in Manitou’s dealer network.
Most of our customers came to us from a national dealer. They were tired of waiting days for a callback and getting an invoice nobody could explain.
Why do fleets choose Manitou? A telehandler reaches and places loads where a standard forklift cannot, and it does the work of several machines in a yard or on a site. That is why the brand is common on construction and supply fleets.
Warranty claims on a new Manitou machine should go through an authorized Manitou dealer so the claim is processed the right way. Regular maintenance and repairs that are not under warranty can stay with us.
If a job needs Manitou proprietary dealer only tools or software, we say so up front and we point you to the dealer path for that job.
We service Manitou fleets across the approved Central Texas service area, with the most telehandler and rough terrain work in these areas.
Buda, Kyle, and San Marcos. Close to our shop. Building materials, construction supply, and contractor yards along the I-35 corridor, where growth keeps telehandlers busy.
Austin, South Austin, Del Valle, and Manor. Construction supply, equipment yards, and industrial sites on both sides of the city. East side growth along SH 130 and US 290 keeps this work steady.
Round Rock, Georgetown, Hutto, and Pflugerville. Job site and yard work tied to new commercial and industrial building north of Austin.
San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo, Seguin, and New Braunfels. Building materials, ranch and ag supply, and contractor fleets across the I-35 and I-10 corridors.
Bastrop, Elgin, Lockhart, and Luling. Rural and small town yards and job sites, where a telehandler or rough terrain truck is often the main machine on the property.
For a Manitou fleet in any of these cities, we cover the site as part of regular service from Buda, not as a special project.
If you run 1 or 2 Manitou telehandlers, you are still a customer. Book a service call and we will treat that machine with the same care we give a 10+ unit fleet.
