Kubota Forklift Service For Central Texas Operations

Independent service for Kubota powered forklifts and Kubota equipment from Austin to San Antonio. Preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and Fleet Program coverage for the engines and machines that keep your operation moving. Based in Buda. Keeping your business running on time since 1993.

Where Kubota Shows Up In Central Texas Fleets

Kubota is best known for its engines and its compact equipment. Many forklifts and other industrial machines run on Kubota engines, so Kubota is often under the hood of a truck that carries another name on the side.

That matters when you manage a fleet. A forklift can be a different brand than its engine, and the engine is where a lot of the service work lives. Cooling, fuel, ignition, filters, belts, and tune ups follow the engine, not the badge.

Kubota equipment also turns up in Central Texas operations as compact machines: yards, nurseries, landscape and construction suppliers, and plants that keep a small tractor or loader next to the forklifts. A shop that already services your trucks can look at those machines on the same visit when the work fits.

If your fleet mixes brands, you do not need a separate service call for each one. One team that already covers the corridor can take the Kubota powered units with the rest of the fleet.

What We Service On Kubota Powered Fleets

R&R Lift services Kubota powered forklifts and Kubota equipment in a working fleet. Tell us the machine and the problem, and we confirm what we can do before we schedule the visit.

Kubota Powered Forklifts

Internal combustion forklifts are where Kubota engines are most common in the warehouse and yard.

  • Diesel engines (cooling, fuel system, filters, belts, and starting and charging)
  • LPG and gasoline engines (fuel and ignition systems, regulators, and tune ups, as equipped)
  • Cushion and pneumatic tire trucks that run a Kubota engine in daily use

Engine service work covers diagnostics, fuel and air systems, cooling, ignition, and the full PM scope on the rest of the truck, including hydraulics, brakes, steering, mast, and chain.

Kubota Compact Equipment

Kubota is also known for compact tractors, compact excavators, skid steers and compact track loaders, and utility vehicles.

  • Compact tractors and loaders that work yards and material areas beside your forklifts
  • Compact excavators and track loaders used by construction and site work crews
  • Utility vehicles that move people and tools around a large site

Service on this equipment covers engine and hydraulic work, daily wear items, and routine maintenance. Call first with the unit and the issue so we can confirm the job fits before we roll a truck.

Mixed Fleets With Kubota Engines

Most fleets are not one brand. A Kubota engine can sit in a truck that reads as a different nameplate.

  • Mixed brand forklift fleets where some units share the same type of engine
  • Older trucks still in service that have been repowered or kept running for years
  • Yard and outdoor units that work hard in Texas heat and dust

We tell you what the engine needs, what the truck needs, and what can wait. If a part is hard to source, we say so before we start.

Common Service Work On Kubota Fleets

The work we run on Kubota fleets in Central Texas falls into four categories.

Preventative maintenance. Scheduled PM visits with documented inspections. Planned service intervals, not a call after the truck already stopped. Thorough PM is the line that cuts reactive repair cost and downtime cost.

Diagnostics. Engines throw fault codes and warning lights, and codes are a starting point. We test the fuel, air, cooling, electrical, and hydraulic systems on site and we do not stop at a scan tool. Intermittent issues get a real diagnostic visit, not a parts swap and a hope.

Repair. Engine tune ups, cooling and fuel systems, belts and hoses, hydraulic pumps and lines, mast and chain, brakes, steering, and electrical. Most repair work happens on site. When a job needs shop level work, we coordinate transport and give you a timeline. Technicians carry common wear items on the truck so a PM or a simple repair can finish without a second trip for a filter or a belt.

Fleet program coverage. For operations running 10+ forklifts, the Fleet Program is a scheduled maintenance for the whole fleet. Planned service intervals, documented inspections, and one team that knows every unit you run. Fleet Program customers get a tech on site to diagnose within 24 hours for a down unit and within 2 business days for everything else. Guaranteed. Same day or next business day. After hours service is reserved for Fleet Program customers.

Independent Service Vs Kubota Dealer Service

R&R Lift is an independent forklift company. We are not an authorized Kubota dealer. We service Kubota powered forklifts and Kubota equipment. We do not sell new Kubota equipment and we are not in Kubota’s dealer network.

Most of our customers came to us from a national dealer. They were tired of waiting days for a callback and getting an invoice nobody could explain.

Why do fleets choose Kubota powered machines? The engines are widely used and well known, which means technicians understand them. That is good for you, because the service path is familiar and not a mystery.

Warranty claims on new equipment should go through an authorized dealer so the claim is processed the right way. Regular maintenance and repairs that are not under warranty can stay with us.

If a job needs proprietary dealer only tools or software, we say so up front and point you to the dealer path for that job.

Kubota Fleet Operations We Serve In Central Texas

We service Kubota powered fleets across the approved Central Texas service area, with the most work in these areas.

Buda, Kyle, and San Marcos. Close to our shop. Manufacturing, materials, and mixed indoor outdoor fleets along the I-35 corridor, where engine driven trucks do a lot of the work.

Austin, North Austin, South Austin, and Del Valle. Warehouses, distribution, and yards that run a mix of brands. Many of those fleets have a Kubota engine somewhere in the mix.

San Antonio, Schertz, and Seguin. Industrial and construction supply operations where internal combustion trucks and compact equipment share the yard.

Round Rock, Georgetown, and Pflugerville. Plants and regional distribution that run a mix of units and want one service team for all of it.

New Braunfels, Bastrop, and Lockhart. Mid corridor shops, yards, and agricultural supply where a small fleet is the whole operation.

For a Kubota powered fleet in any of these cities, we cover the facility as part of regular service from Buda, not as a special project.
