Combilift Forklift Service For Central Texas Operations

Independent service for Combilift multidirectional forklifts and sideloaders from Austin to San Antonio. Preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and Fleet Program coverage for the trucks that carry long and bulky loads. Based in Buda. Keeping your business running on time since 1993.

Where Combilift Trucks Work In Central Texas

Combilift builds multidirectional forklifts. These trucks drive forward and backward like a standard forklift, and they also travel sideways with the load. That lets one truck move long and bulky material through narrow aisles and tight yards.

Combilift fleets sit where the load is awkward. Lumber and building materials yards. Steel, pipe, and metal fabrication. Millwork, doors, and window suppliers. Precast and stone. Manufacturers that stage long stock beside the line. In Central Texas those sites run along the I-35 corridor, around Buda and Kyle, through San Marcos and New Braunfels, and across the San Antonio industrial areas.

Fleets choose Combilift because one truck can do the work of a sideloader and a counterbalance truck, in less aisle width. That is a fair reason to buy the brand.

The service question is the same on every yard. Who keeps the truck moving when it goes down in the middle of a shift? If you run Combilift next to Toyota, Hyster, or Caterpillar trucks, one team that already covers the corridor can take the Combilift units with the rest of the fleet.

What We Service Across Combilift Equipment

R&R Lift services Combilift trucks across multidirectional, narrow aisle, and specialty handling equipment. We list equipment types here, not model numbers. If you run something unusual, call 512-256-5312 and tell us what it is.

Multidirectional And Four Way Forklifts

This is the core of the Combilift range and the bulk of the trucks we see.

  • Four way multidirectional forklifts (long load handling indoors and out, diesel, LPG, or electric as equipped)
  • Sideloaders (loads carried along the side of the truck for long stock in narrow aisles)
  • Pedestrian operated multidirectional trucks (compact trucks for tight spaces and light long loads)

Service work covers the steering and drive systems that make sideways travel possible, hydraulics, mast and chains, engine or electric drive, brakes, and the full PM scope on the rest of the machine.

Narrow Aisle And Articulated Trucks

Combilift also builds narrow aisle trucks for racked warehouses.

  • Articulated narrow aisle trucks (work in very narrow racking aisles, electric powered)
  • Electric trucks with battery and charger needs (common in indoor warehouse work)

Service work covers battery and charger inspection, motor and controller diagnostics, the articulation and steering systems, hydraulics, mast and chains, and the standard PM scope.

Straddle Carriers And Specialty Handling

Combilift also builds specialty handling equipment, including straddle carriers for long and heavy loads.

If your yard runs a specialty unit, call us before the next service interval. We tell you what we can service before we start, we tell you when a part will take time, and we tell you when a job belongs with the dealer.

Common Service Work On Combilift Trucks

The work we run on Combilift trucks in Central Texas falls into four categories.

Preventative maintenance. Scheduled PM visits with documented inspections. Planned service intervals, not a call after the truck already stopped. Thorough PM is the line that cuts reactive repair cost and downtime cost.

Diagnostics. Multidirectional trucks add steering and drive systems that a standard forklift does not have. Fault codes are a starting point. We test hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on site and we do not stop at a scan tool. Intermittent issues get a real diagnostic visit, not a parts swap and a hope.

Repair. Engine and motor work, hydraulic pumps and hoses, mast and chain, brakes, steering and drive components, electrical, and transmission and drivetrain. Most repair work happens on site. When a job needs shop level work, we coordinate transport and give you a timeline. Technicians carry common wear items on the truck so a PM or a simple repair can finish without a second trip for a filter or a hose.

Fleet program coverage. For operations running 10+ forklifts, the Fleet Program is a scheduled maintenance for the whole fleet. Planned service intervals, documented inspections, and one team that knows every unit you run. Fleet Program customers get a tech on site to diagnose within 24 hours for a down unit and within 2 business days for everything else. Guaranteed. Same day or next business day. After hours service is reserved for Fleet Program customers.

Independent Service Vs Combilift Dealer Service

R&R Lift is an independent forklift company. We are not an authorized Combilift dealer. We service Combilift trucks. We do not sell new Combilift equipment and we are not in Combilift’s dealer network.

Most of our customers came to us from a national dealer. They were tired of waiting days for a callback and getting an invoice nobody could explain.

Many Combilift owners bought through a dealer that knows the brand well, and a dealer is the right call for a new truck. Warranty claims on a new Combilift truck should go through an authorized Combilift dealer so the claim is processed the right way. Regular maintenance and repairs that are not under warranty can stay with us.

Parts for Combilift repairs are sourced through standard OEM and aftermarket channels. We tell you what we recommend and why. We are not a parts counter.

For most diagnostic and repair work, our tooling and platform experience are enough. If a job needs Combilift proprietary dealer only tools, we say so up front and we point you to the dealer path for that job.

Combilift Operations We Serve In Central Texas

We service Combilift trucks across the approved Central Texas service area, with the most Combilift work in these submarkets.

Buda, Kyle, and San Marcos. Close to our shop. Building materials yards, metal fabrication, and manufacturers that move long stock between the shop floor and the yard.

Austin, North Austin, South Austin, and Del Valle. Lumber and millwork suppliers, steel and pipe distribution, and construction supply sites that need a truck sized for long loads.

Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and Hutto. Regional distribution and manufacturing that moved to the SH 130 and I-35 corridors and kept a narrow aisle fleet.

New Braunfels, Seguin, and Schertz. Mid corridor plants and yards between the two metros, where one or two long load trucks are the whole operation.

San Antonio. Industrial and building materials work on the north and east sides, plus mixed fleets that run Combilift beside counterbalance trucks.

For a Combilift fleet in any of these cities, we cover the facility as part of regular service from Buda, not as a special project.

Running 1 Or 2 Combilift Trucks
