R&R Industrial Lift Service will schedule your Standard PM (Preventative Maintenance) Service at 30, 60, or 90-day intervals, or you can choose any frequency you need. Our trained technicians can help you choose the best maintenance frequency depending on operational time and the environment in which your forklift is used. Once you have established your PM frequency we will call to schedule an appointment that will be convenient for you to perform your PM maintenance.

Our technicians can show your operators where all the fluid and lubricant checkpoints are, and which proper fluids and lubricants are to be used.

| Why two different types of maintenance? |
|
All areas of a forklift require maintenance, but not all at the same frequency. We have designed the following maintenance schedules in order to maximize the life and safety of each forklift. The "STANDARD PM SERVICE" should be performed on a semi-frequent basis, and "1000 HOUR MAINTENANCE" should be according to the factory recommendations, this maintenance should be preformed every 1000 hours thus the name 1000 Hour Maintenance. Check safety items: horn, backup alarm, strobe light, fire extinguiser, and head lights
Change air filter
Change fuel filter
Top off all battery water & inspect cables and terminals
Inspect steering linkage and operation
Inspect mast and attachment for proper operation
Inspect engine belts, hoses, and clamps
Inspect instrument panel, head lights, hour meter, gauges
Inspect hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and control valves for leaks
Inspect drivers, overhead guard, and load back rest
Insure proper adjustment & operation of foot brakes and parking brake
Inspect wheel lugs and tire wear
Measure fork thickness & chain stretch, inspect fork latches & carriage bearings
Blow out radiator and complete lift
Lubricate all grease fittings / mast chains, pivot points and mast rails
Change engine oil
Change oil filter
Visual and operational check |

Remove wheels and pack wheel bearings and replace wheels seals
Full brake inspection (pull wheel, drum and inspect wheel cylinder, shoes
and seals) Inspect all steering components excessive wear
Change differential fluid
Test charging system
Hydrometer test cooling system
Check fork thickness and chain stretch
change transmission oil/fluid
Change hydraulic oil, and filter
Hydrometer test and load test battery
Inspect mast and carriage rollers
Lift drive axle off ground to insure proper mast trunion cap bearing operation
Adjust engine valve (if applicable)
Adjust carburetor and set timing |
